In last weeks KADET Class the students were taught about fire safety. There were guest speakers from the Macclenny Fire Dept. there and they explained the importance of checking hot wires, heaters, and other hazards found in the home. They also, talked about having an escape route in case of a fire. The Kadet kids also learned about the fire trucks and the importance of the different types of equipment the firemen use to put out fires. The students were also given the opportunity to dress up in the fireman's suits and climb through the fire truck. What a enjoyable learning experience for our KADETS!
